Contribution acceptance resolution (concessional contributions)
Product type: Standard template | no legal review or advice
The purpose of the Written Resolution is to accept the contribution or contributions made by the member of the Superannuation Fund.
Personal concessional contributions are contributions made by a member for their own benefit.
Contributions must be allocated to a member’s account within 28 days after the end of the month in which the Trustee receives them.
The general concessional contributions cap for 2025/26 is $30,000 (irrespective of the age of the member).
The concessional contributions cap for 2025/26 for a particular member will be $30,000 plus any unused concessional cap of that member which has been carried forward from five immediately preceding financial years (from 2019/20 to 2025/26 financial years).
Consequently, the concessional contributions cap for 2025/26 could, for a particular member, be greater than $30,000.
For further information on contributions please see the Contributions Information Sheet.
For superannuation funds governed by non-SUPERCentral or non-Townsends Business & Corporate Lawyers governing rules, please review the applicable trust deed and governing rules to determine if the template is suitable for the Superannuation Fund.
