Use this document to revoke a death benefit nomination by or on behalf of the member, for both binding and non-binding Death Benefit Nominations.
Please note that it is a template document and will have to be modified for the particular requirements of each superannuation fund.
For superannuation funds governed by non-SUPERCentral or non-Townsends Business & Corporate Lawyers governing rules, please review the applicable trust deed and governing rules to determine if the template is suitable for the Superannuation Fund.
Important note: The governing rules of the superannuation fund must be checked in particular to ensure the rules permit a member to withdraw a nomination without replacing it with either a binding nomination or a non-binding nomination and how that can be achieved.
