Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Funding Laws

As you are no doubt aware, from 1 July 2026 under new Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Funding Laws, we are now required to conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) to verify clients' identities and obtain additional information before we can provide designated services.

Consequently, when ordering a designated service from SUPERCentral or its associated legal firm Townsends Lawyers from 1 July, a CDD process will be required. We appreciate that many clients will find this process inconvenient and to assist, when ordering a designated service, through SUPERCentral you will be able to choose between two service options:

Reliance Partner Program:  when instructing us on behalf of your clients, we rely on the client identification verification and information you have already obtained through your firm's AML | CDD process. You can then order in the usual manner for significant time and cost savings. Please see the website for further information.

CDD Verification check:  you can seamlessly order an individual CDD through the designated service provider Legl on any designated product order form at a cost of $42.40 per person – Please note, some designated services may also incur additional AML disbursement fees which will be advised at the time of order.

Please note that pricing for our products will increase from 1 August 2026.

SMSF fund annual renewal fees are not impacted.
